The project known as MUTEP (Malatya International Trade Ambassadors Program) commenced with the slogan 'Cultural Diplomacy, Strong Trade.' This initiative, a result of joint cooperation between Yeşilyurt Municipality, Inonu University, Malatya Turgut Ozal University, the TOBB Young Entrepreneurs Council, and the Yeşilyurt City Council, aims to connect the region's production capacities to international markets [1].

The Role of International Students in Developing Malatya's Exports One of the unique features of this plan is the focus on international students studying in Malatya. According to published reports, in the first phase of this program, at least 100 foreign students possessing language skills and cultural understanding of their home countries will be selected [2]. After completing intensive trade training courses, these students will be paired with 50 top local companies in Malatya.
