Following the announcement of June inflation data by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the salary increase rates for civil servants and retirees for the second half of 2026 have been determined. According to these statistics, the new salary coefficient has led to a 13.52% increase in the fees for educational and administrative staff cooperating in exams organized by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center of Turkey (ÖSYM) [1]. • Building Manager (Bina Yöneticisi): 2,522 TRY
• Hall President (Salon Başkanı): 2,189 TRY
• Proctor/Invigilator (Gözetmen): 2,123 TRY
• Reserve Proctor (Yedek Gözetmen): 1,592 TRY
• Assistant Proctor for Disabled (Yardımcı Engelli Gözetmen): 2,655 TRY

These amounts are estimated as net figures; however, depending on the individual's tax bracket (15%, 20%, or 27%), slight variations in the final deposit may be observed [2].

One of the important points in the 2026 schedule is the difference in earnings based on the tax ceiling. For example, an exam proctor in the 15% tax bracket receives 2,123 TRY, but if the individual's annual income has reached the 27% bracket, this amount decreases to approximately 1,871 TRY [1][3]. This issue has always been a subject of discussion among teacher unions in Turkey, as net earnings for exam supervision decrease in the final months of the year due to increased total income.

Registration and Payment Procedures

Candidates for exam cooperation can select exam centers through the Staff Operations System (GİS). According to the new procedure in 2026, wages are usually deposited into the accounts registered in the system between 7 to 15 days after the exam [3]. Due to the digitalization of processes, all stages from role allocation to confirmation of presence at the exam site are controlled online to prevent any delays in payments.
