Turkish Scientific Teams Shine in 2026 International Competitions with TÜBİTAK Support

Special Award for Çukurova University Drone Team in the UK While the high schoolers were shining in Asia, the "1,5 Adana UAV" student team from Çukurova University brought honor in Europe. Participating in the IMechE UAS Challenge held in the United Kingdom, the team received the prestigious "Most Promising Team" award [1].

This competition, which focuses on the design and construction of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), hosted top engineering teams from around the world. The Turkish team attracted the attention of international judges with an innovative design and demonstrated system stability during test flights.
