The "Black Sea Brotherhood Route Journey" project continues in the Çaykara district with the participation of 46 students of various nationalities. This journey aims to introduce young people to the natural beauties of northern Turkey and strengthen the spirit of national and religious solidarity.

Details of the Brotherhood Journey in Çaykara The Çaykara district in Trabzon province is currently hosting a group of enthusiastic young people as part of the "Black Sea Brotherhood Route Journey" (Rota Karadeniz Kardeşlik Gezisi) project. In this program, 46 students who traveled from Ankara to this region are guests of the warm-hearted people of Çaykara for three days [1]. These students are from the "Prof. Dr. Muhammed Hamidullah" International Imam Hatip High School, which serves as a center for educating students from 61 Islamic countries and various provinces of Turkey [3].

The Çaykara District Directorate of National Education, in cooperation with the "Martyr Ahmet Çamur" Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, is responsible for the coordination and accommodation of these students. Ahmet Çamurali, the District Director of National Education, personally oversees the implementation of this program and the provision of the students' welfare and educational needs [2].

Exploring the Beauties of Uzungöl One of the most important parts of this trip was a visit to the famous "Uzungöl" lake. On June 28, 2026, this group of 46 people, along with their teachers, headed to this tourist area. During the day, the students visited the unique mountain landscapes and the lake, took photographs, and became closely acquainted with the rich culture of the Black Sea region by tasting local foods [1].

After an active day in nature, the students returned to the center of Çaykara and engaged in football and sports activities at the local stadium, which led to further interaction with the local youth of the region [3].

Educational and Cultural Goals of the Project The "Black Sea Brotherhood Route" project is organized in cooperation with the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports, the "Ceren Damar Şenel" Youth Center, and the "Din-Bir-Der" Association. The main goal of this plan goes beyond a simple sightseeing trip; the organizers seek to strengthen national and spiritual values, create environmental awareness, and connect young people from different cultures and countries to one another [2].

These students, who have gathered in Turkey from various Islamic countries, have the opportunity through these trips to closely observe the historical and natural heritage of cities such as Samsun, Giresun, Trabzon, Rize, and Bayburt [1].

Future Plans and End of the Journey According to the announced schedule, after completing their stay in Çaykara, this cultural caravan moved toward Rize province and the famous "Ayder" plateau on June 29. After visiting the attractions of Rize, their final destination before returning to Ankara will be Bayburt province [3]. The students participating in this project expressed their satisfaction and gratitude for the hospitality of the people of Çaykara and the opportunity they gained to better know Turkey and their religious brothers [2].
